The Tikhra technique is almost a lost art. Craftsmen from the desert region of Rajastan blow mercury glass orbs which are meticulously cut into small tiles. The tiles are then laid mosaique-style onto the substrait forming a beautiful, intricate surface for furniture and mirrors. This two-legged console mounts to the wall using predrilled holes on the back side of the table.
